Safdar Sarki spoke of his harrowing experiences of being kept in dungeons in military compounds in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Sarki's talk was preceded by a screening of "Missing in Pakistan", a 29-minute documentary capturing Pakistan's gross human rights violations encouraged by the US Government. Friday's screening and talk was a part of South Asian Human Rights Film Festival, FOSA's 61st independence year celebrations of Pakistan and India. I have sympathies for Dr Safdar Sarki and other nationalists who've been kidnapped by the agencies.
